Ordoliberalism is not a natural place for this. But I strongly recommend the following blog post by John Ward, who has put it better than I could possibly have done: Yet it has indirect relevance to Karl Polanyi’s work and so to the general situation in Europe. John Ward even mentions the potential rise of antisemitism in Ukraine. The 1930s do appear to be returning, albeit with significant variations. I really think the EU has much to answer for stirring the Ukrainian hornet’s nest.
